  This is based on the old parts 4 and 5 of Book 7, but mostly re-written. Next I will begin advancing the timeline into new territory. In Chapter 2 of Madness Ascendant , the war crosses another horrifying threshold as atomic fire consumes Baku, London, and Liverpool while armies freeze before Moscow and Leningrad.
